MEET THE TEAM
LAYNE BROOKSHIRE, OWNER AND ORGANIZER
Layne Brookshire is the founder of Ms. Placed Professional Organizing in Austin, Texas. A Texas native, Layne first launched her business in 2011 as a personal assistant + organizer while living in Santa Barbara, California. She quickly realized that people innately desire to live in organized homes, but often lack the time or knowledge to implement the necessary changes in their lives.
The move back home to Austin presented the perfect opportunity for Layne to combine her passion and experience to create a personalized luxury service for busy individuals, bringing order, function, and freedom from anxiety into the lives and homes of her clients. She commits herself to learning her client’s spaces, routines, and needs to create customized solutions to best fit their lifestyle.
Layne’s passion for order stems from her continual experiment to streamline her world by removing both physical and mental obstacles. Her attraction to mindfulness, meditation, and self-growth equips her to work with individuals seeking similar life improvements. Simply put, she loves making life easier. Think peaceful, productive, and clutter-free.

Jenna Baltera, Lead organizer
Growing up in Texas, Jenna learned from a young age that bigger is not always better and with more space comes more stuff. After moving to New York, she quickly mastered how to stay organized in a small space and embraced the mental clarity that comes with a clutter-free home. Jenna took her talents into the homes and offices of friends and colleagues. After running her own organizing company, she decided to join the team at Resourceful Consultants as a luxury home organizer and interior stylist. She has officially returned to her home state and is excited to take on the Austin market working with the Ms. Placed team.
Ellie Twyman, Assistant Organizer
Ellie began organizing in response to a desire to help people uncover more joy in their lives. She has been a compulsive organizer since childhood and was always quick to offer her help to friends and family when they found themselves feeling overwhelmed in their homes. Once in Austin, Ellie found Ms. Placed and jumped at the opportunity to work with the team organizing homes in the Austin area. She loves seeing the weight fall off clients' shoulders as they see their home begin to make more sense and is beyond thrilled to call this her profession.
Laura Bentancourt, Assistant organizer

"I'm lucky enough to live right here in Austin where Ms. Placed could come work their magic in person. It was life-changing."
"A joy to work with! We hired the team for our whole home organizing project. They did such a wonderful job!”
"Upon arriving home at the end of the day we literally couldn't believe what they were able to accomplish. Ms. Placed was a great help to our family after we moved in. Ms. Placed has made our lives that much simpler.
"Ms. placed is on my speed dial! We’ve worked in our attic, garage, kitchen, pantry, and three storage units which we were able to get rid of! They are super efficient, and gentle with the "treasures" I had trouble parting with.
